Depending on where you live, state privacy laws (such as the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended) may give you the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information. This page explains how to make that request.
We do not sell your personal information to unrelated third parties. As described in our Privacy Policy, we share your application information with lenders and partners in our network so they can evaluate your request. Under some state laws, this type of sharing may be treated as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information.
To opt out, email us with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" and include your full name and the email address you used on your application. We will confirm your request and process it as required by applicable law.
Depending on your state, you may also have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request access to or deletion of your information, to correct inaccurate information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising your rights. You can make any of these requests by emailing contact@mysmartfunding.com.
We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf; we may ask for proof of the agent's authorization.
An opt-out applies going forward and does not affect information already provided to a lender in connection with an application you submitted. Some information must be kept to meet legal obligations.
