MySmartFunding ("we," "us," "our") operates an online lending marketplace that connects applicants with third-party lenders. MySmartFunding is not a lender and does not make credit decisions.
When you submit an application, we collect the information you provide, including your name, date of birth, contact details, address, employment and income information, bank account and routing number, Social Security number, and driver's license or state ID number. We also automatically collect your IP address and basic device/browser information.
We share your application information with lenders and partners in our network so they can evaluate and, if appropriate, present you with an offer. We do not sell your information to unrelated third parties. We may share information with service providers who help us operate our platform (for example, hosting and security providers), bound by confidentiality obligations.
We only initiate a credit check with your explicit authorization, provided as part of the application, in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). If you opt in to marketing communications, we may contact you by email, phone, or text in accordance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA); you can opt out at any time.
Sensitive fields, including your Social Security number and bank account number, are encrypted before they are stored. Data is transmitted using TLS encryption. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain application data for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, and as required by applicable law.
You may opt out of marketing communications at any time. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, contact us using the details below, subject to any legal retention requirements.
Our services are not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from minors.
